Time... marches on.

I had auditioned for the Comedy Central game show "Win Ben Stein's Money" back at the first of 1998. The audition went well, and I had no reason to think they wouldn't pick me to be on the show. "If you haven't heard from us by the end of March, though, you probably won't hear from us," they cautioned. But that was for some of the 'questionable' applicants, not me.

So, I waited. And waited. And waited. Started to worry... maybe they lost my phone number. Perhaps they couldn't find anyone to match me up with. Maybe they didn't like me.

Turns out, I was wrong.
