...there was a boy named Devin.
Devin had a lot of friends, and people he cared about, and wanted to show them how much he valued their companionship. However, when the holidays came around, Devin was usually dead flippin' broke.
So, in 1996, Devin made his first year-end soundtrack album. He meant for it to be a gift that no one else could duplicate, a one-of-a-kind gift that his friends could enjoy year-round.
That tradition continues in 2004, with 'Reemergence.'
Like 2004, 'Reemergence' is a mixed bag with a little of everything. You'll like some of the songs on the compilation, and hate some of the others. But with luck, it will expose you to some things you haven't heard before, and remind you of where you were in the last twelve months. At least, that's how I felt when I put the thing together.
A couple of technical notes: as in previous years, you can download the CD jewel case insert in PDF format here. Also, you can get the whole shebang through the iTunes Music Store by clicking this here link thingamabob.
Enjoy.
